--------------------------------
Buy/Sell
You can buy or sell in MushroomsTrade in two ways:
1. Publish a buy or sell offer at MushroomsTrade.
2. Find and select companies in the MushroomsTrade directory and send them an
email with your introduction, offers, trade leads, questions, or business proposals.
To publish a Buy or Sell offer at MushroomsTrade, the "Compose
Offer " form must be filled in and the commodity published.
The offer will be saved in "My Catalog" and will
be visible in the "Mushrooms Marketplace."
Offers can be edited in "My Catalog."
To reply to a Buy or Sell offer posted at MushroomsTrade, choose the "inquire
now" option and send an email to the buyer or seller.
---
This is a marketplace and directory exclusively for mushrooms - any other goods
will be deleted. You can list fruits and vegetables under "product/services,"
"other products". Other goods can be listed in the "other products"
field in your "personal profile."
You can use MT for your private business - no one else can view your private information. Users can see only what you want them to see, e.g., what you "publish."
You can use MT to keep records of your mushrooms instead of using Word or Excel documents, and from MT you can easily copy offers into emails for your clients by using the "Sandbox."
--------------------------------
Mushrooms
Marketplace
This is the hub
of the market where all the trading action takes place.
Here you can see your published offers as well as those of others:
You can use custom views to watch companies or offers.
You can see companies in either directory or market mode.
You can select and "import offer" into "my
catalog."
You can select offers and view details.

--------------------------------
Companies
Directory, Search
The Companies Directory and Search are used for selecting or searching for companies
and offers.
You can select companies based on many parameters, and can search with keywords
and within the official directory or just within your Portfolios.
Results can be viewed in either directory or market
mode.

--------------------------------
Portfolios
Portfolios provide a place to store and keep track of companies and offers.
Portfolios have two functions:
1. To save contacts and companies, making them easy to work with.
2. To create groups for publishing rules and applying prices.
Portfolios enable you to:
- Use custom views to watch companies or offers.
- View companies in either directory or market mode.
- Select offers for import into your own catalog.
- Search for offers or companies and save the results to a Portfolio or Selection
for later use.
- Email companies.
There are two ways to create a Portfolio:
- Click the "Create & Edit" link in the Portfolio menu.
- Click the "Settings" link, then click "Portfolio Editor."
Both will bring you to the Price/Portfolio Manager, where a new Portfolio is
created by clicking the "Create New Portfolio" button.
In edit portfolio page:
"Publish
rule" is safety lock so that you don't publish a buy offer to a buyer or
sell offer to a seller by mistake. For example, if you choose "buy,"
then companies within this Portfolio will only be able to see your "buy"
offers.
"Default view" is the page view/mode setting that will be used when
you open this portfolio.
To edit price rules you have to click "Settings" link, then click
"Price Manager."
Rules:
- Multiple Portfolios can be created, and companies can be added to or removed
from them as desired.
- You may not duplicate a company within your Portfolios, e.g., a company can
only be saved in one Portfolio at a time.
- If you are a free member you can save only one company in
a Portfolio.
- You can apply price rules.
- You can apply publish rules.
You can add a company to a Portfolio by selecting an offer and choosing the
Add Company to Portfolio option, or by selecting a company
and choosing the Move To Portfolio or Copy To
Portfolio option, depending on where you are.
Move To will remove the company from the current list and add it to
the selected Portfolio.
Copy To will leave the company on the current list and add it to the
selected Portfolio.
--------------------------------
Selection
A Selection is used for saving selected companies and offers. It is similar
to a Portfolio, but doesn't allow rules to be applied to certain Selections,
and a company can be saved in more then one Selection.
Selections are
used for quick saving. Companies can be easily added or deleted, and it is simple
to email companies within a Selection or see what they have available to sell.
Selections enable you to:
- Use custom views to watch companies or offers.
- View companies in either directory or market mode.
- Select offers for import into your own catalog.
- Email companies.
Rules:
- Multiple Selections can be created, and companies can be added to or removed
from them as desired.
- Unlike Portfolios, you can duplicate a company within your
Selections, e.g. you can have same company in more then one Selection.
- You can't apply price rules.
- You can't apply publish rules.
To save a company to a Selection:
- Choose either "Selected Companies" (check off those to be saved)
or "Complete Selection" (to save all listed) from the "Save Selection"
menu.
- Type the name of a Selection in the blank box to the right.
- Click Go when all options are complete.
If the Selection name does not already exist, it will be created as a new Selection.
If you have been working on a listing that has already been saved and wish to
update the changes you made, enter the name of the selection currently open.
If you want to save in already existing selection, just type the name of existing
selection in which you want to save and chosen companies will be added to existing
list without deleting old entries.
A company can't be moved or copied from one Selection to another, but it can
be saved as new Selection.
--------------------------------
My
Catalog
My Catalog is used as an inventory catalog for saving your own products. You
can create multiple catalogs with custom views to track product information.
In My Catalog, a new product can be added by clicking "compose offer."
Products can be edited and published. Imported offers can be viewed, edited
and published. Price rules can be applied to published products.
To create a new catalog, select "create & edit" from the My Catalog
menu.
My Catalog Options:
Using Selected/Email/Sandbox:
- Choose "Send Email" to send an email to the selected owner of an
offer or company if you have imported an offer.
- Choose an available Sandbox under "Copy to Sandbox" to choose what
and how to copy the selected offers or companies to the Sandbox page.
- Click Go after choosing options.
Using Selected/Choose
Catalog:
- Choose "move to," "copy to,"
or "copy to+photo to," choose a catalog in the box
that follows and click Go.
Move To moves the selected offers from the current catalog to the chosen
catalog.
Copy To leaves a copy of the selected offers in the current catalog.
Makes new copy of the text of the selected offer only, without photo.
Copy To+Photo To also leaves a copy of the selected offers in the current
catalog but includes complete offers with text and photo when copying to the
chosen catalog. Makes new copy of selected offer, both text and photo.
If you want to create a new offer similar to one that already exists, you can
use the "copy" function so that you don't have to type everything
over again. When you copy an offer, "publish" and "price"
rules will not be copied.
How to watch offers:
- You can narrow the view scope by choosing options from Choose Type, Choose
Form, Buy/Sell, and All Publishing.
- Choosing types and forms allow you to choose what mushrooms are viewed. Select
All Types or All Forms to view everything.
- Buy/Sell allows you to choose what offers are viewed to include both buy
and sell, buy only or sell only.
- All Publishing allows you choose what offers are viewed to include all published
and all unpublished, or published only or unpublished
only.
Using Change Page View:
- You can select an existing view or your custom view from
the Change View menu.
To create a new view, click "Settings," then "View Editor,"
and then "My Catalog View", or select "Create & Edit"
from the Create View menu, depending on where you are.
To edit or delete an existing view, go to the View Editor (click "Settings"
then "View Editor") and click one of the icons in the Actions column.

--------------------------------
Compose
Offer
To create a mushroom commodity, the Compose Offer form must
be completed. This allows you to buy or sell and to add mushroom into "My
Catalog." Clicking "Compose Offer" calls up the
form.
After filling in basic information about the mushroom, location, price, and
quantity, you can start working with the offer.
There are 3 options:
- Publish.
- Price rules.
- Companies can import the offer.
An offer can be posted when one or more of the "Publish" checkboxes
are selected as long as a price is also entered - an offer can't
be published without a price.
If you want to create a new offer similar to one that already exists, you can
use the "copy" function so that you don't have to type everything
over again. When you copy an offer, "publish" and "price"
rules will not be copied.
Published offers are valid for 14 days, after that you need to verify the offer. If an offer is not verified, it will be removed from being published automatically. You will be notified via email two days before an offer will expire. In the catalog, offers which need verification are marked in a light grey color, and offers that have been removed are marked in dark grey.
You can only publish offers for mushrooms in bulk. Canned, spawn, substrate, and consumer packed products can't be published as offers at this time, but you can list them in text fields. Use the "remarks" and "product/services" text fields to explain exactly what mushrooms you are buying or selling.
This is a marketplace and directory exclusively for mushrooms - any other goods will be deleted. You can list fruits and vegetables under "product/services," "other products". Other goods can be listed in the "other products" field in your "personal profile."
---
"Publish" options indicate which user(s) will be able to
see your published offer.
Commodities are published in the Mushroom Marketplace, allowing you to publish
privately.
Publishing groups are Portfolios.
"Price rules" are for changing the price automatically -
you can set a discount or higher price for certain users.
With "publish rules" a company can choose who will see an
offer.
With "price rules" a company can choose what price will be
seen by certain members.
---
Portfolios have two functions:
1. To save contacts and companies, making them easy to work with.
2. To create groups for publishing rules and applying prices.
A Portfolio's price and publishing rules start to work when you publish your
offers.
Example 1:
A company can choose not to publish for free members and to publish only to
paid members.
A company can choose only to publish to 1WW Portfolio.
A company can choose to publish to free members at a 10% higher price then for
the 1WW Portfolio.
A company can choose not to publish for free members; not to publish to the
1WW Portfolio; to publish to the ABC Portfolio; and to publish to the GPP Portfolio
at a 10% higher price then to the ABC Portfolio.
(ABC,1WW,GPP are Portfolio names in this example)
Example 2:
You are selling frozen boletus edulis. For your established clients the price
is $3, and for paid members the price is $3.5. Established clients are saved
in Portfolio ABC. Now apply publish and price rules:
- Publish: pmem, ABC.
- Price Rules: Checked - The rule set up for pmem is +0.5, so pmem will see
a price increased by $0.5 from the price for established clients.
Example 3:
You are selling frozen boletus edulis. For all clients the price is $3, and
for your agents the price is $2.5. Agents are saved in Portfolio GPP. Now apply
publish and price rules:
- Publish: All.
- Price Rules: Checked - The rule set up for GPP is -0.5, so contacts in the
GPP Portfolio will see a price decreased by $0.5 from the all-client price.
The same thing could be accomplished by publishing separate offers with different
prices.
---
Companies can import offers.
You can choose whether or not to allow an offer to be imported.
You can see who has imported and who has republished your offer:
- Have imported this offer: names of companies who have imported your offer.
- Have republish this offer: names of companies who have published your offer.
To republish is to publish an offer which has been imported from one company,
then published again under a new company name, e.g., the importer's name.
If a company has an imported offer, it doesn't mean that they will republish
it. An offer can be imported without any obligation to republish it.
You can stipulate whether or not to allow offers to be imported with the "Companies
can import the offer" option. Check the box if you wish to allow import.

--------------------------------
Import
Offers
Importing offer is a solution for agents and brokers or for working with your
suppliers.
You can import a provider's published offers and republish them automatically.
To publish (republish) an imported offer, you need to open the imported offer
in edit mode, choose "publish," and click "submit." You
can apply publish and price rules as you desire.
Provider is the imported offer's owner, the one who has the published offer
you have imported.
To import offer you have to select an offer, choose the "Import Offer
to My Catalog" option, and choose in what catalog to import the offer
into.
Rules can be applied to an offer when it is republished:
- Apply an original price change automatically.
- Stop the offer from being published automatically when the original offer
is no longer found.
- Stop the offer from being published automatically when the original price
is changed.
- Companies can import the offer - an option whether or not to allow other companies
to import the offer just as you have imported it.
When a provider make changes on an original offer, you will be notified:
- When a price change occurs in the original, your imported offer's row turns
green.
- When an original is no longer published (removed), your imported offer's row
turns red.
When this happens you can apply rules to apply or not apply changes automatically.
Imported offers
are stored in "My Catalogs"
You can see them in catalogs listing among your other offers
To add new mushroom
offer use "Compose Offer"
--------------------------------
