MushroomsTrade start instructions

You can only publish offers for mushrooms in bulk. Canned, spawn, substrate, and consumer packed products can't be published as offers at this time, but you can list them in text fields. Use the "remarks" and "product/services" text fields to explain exactly what mushrooms you are buying or selling.

This is a marketplace and directory exclusively for mushrooms - any other goods will be deleted. You can list fruits and vegetables under "product/services," "other products". Other goods can be listed in the "other products" field in your "personal profile."

You can use MT for your private business - no one else can view your private information. Users can see only what you want them to see, e.g., what you "publish."

You can use MT to keep records of your mushrooms instead of using Word or Excel documents, and from MT you can easily copy offers into emails for your clients by using the "Sandbox."

For now, the system is works the same as it has in the past: If I find you a buyer or seller, you pay me the regular commission-fee.

FIVE SIMPLE STEPS

2. After you are logged, browse a little, click on the links to become familiar with them, and read the help files.

3. Edit your personal profile.
- Here you will need to describe your company and assign categories that apply to your business.
- Click "settings" then "edit personal profile," and click "save" once you are done.

4. Add your mushrooms - click "compose offer."
- in "compose offer" you will need to describe each mushroom you are selling (or buying).
- Save offers into the DEFAULT catalog - you can rename that catalog or create a new one later.

- If you want users to see an "offer," select "publish." If publish is not selected, then the offer will not be visible and will be saved in your catalog for your private use.
- You can "publish" immediately or when you finish importing all your mushrooms. "Publish" allow users to see your offer - users can only see offers which you publish.

- For now you can publish only to the "DEFAULT" portfolio, and to companies saved in the "default" portfolio.
- Save your offer and click "compose offer" again to add a new mushroom.

- Published offers are valid for 14 days, after that you need to verify the offer. If an offer is not verified, it will be removed from being published automatically.
- NOTE: when you click "mushrooms marketplace" you will not be able to see your published offers because you don't have permission, you can see only offers which I republish under my name

- Click "my catalog >>> DEFAULT" at the top of your page to see your catalog and saved offers.
- Use the "copy to" function so you don't have to retype mushroom data.
- If you want to change an offer, click the "edit" icon in the catalog list.

5. Add my company (MushroomsTrade) into your DEFAULT portfolio.
- This is important because only a company which is saved into your DEFAULT portfolio can see offers that you publish (when you check the box next to DEFAULT in "compose offer" in the "publish" block).

- Click "Companies Directory" or "Search" at the top of the page, then, in "Keyword Search," type "mushroomstrade" and click the "Run Query" button.

- In query results, select "MushroomsTrade", then in "add company" select "DEFAULT" and click the "go" button.

- Now I'm in your DEFAULT portfolio, and I will see what you publish to that portfolio.

- Click "portfolio >>> DEFAULT" at top of your page to see your portfolio.
- For now, you can save only one company into the portfolio.
